Veggie Forward Hawaiian Teriyaki Burger


  • 1 package Cutting Vedge’s Veggie Forward Burgers (3 burger Patties)
  • 3 Burger Buns of choice (eg vegan brioche)
  • 3 rings of pineapple
  • 3 slices of vegan cheddar (optional)
  • Lettuce, chopped
Teriyaki Sauce:
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of each garlic and onion powder
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch


  1. Whisk together all ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan. Bring to a boil in medium heat and simmer until thickened. Set aside.
  2. Prepare Cutting Vedge Burgers following package instructions. If using vegan cheese, add on top to melt after flipping. 
  3. Grill pineapple on your grill, or in your grill pan on the stove
  4. Toast burger buns. Place lettuce on the bottom bun. When the burger patties are finished cooking, place them onto the bun and lettuce, top with grilled pineapple, and drizzle with some of the teriyaki sauce. Add the bun top and serve with any additional condiments or toppings desired. Enjoy!
