Holiday Burger


For the cranberry sauce:
  • 12 oz cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
For the aioli:
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika


  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, and orange juice in a large saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Once the mixture begins to bubble, cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cranberries have burst, the sugar is dissolved, and the sauce has thickened. Let cool completely. 
  2. Stir together all aioli ingredients until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Cook burgers as desired according to package instructions. 
  4. To serve, smear a layer of aioli on each side of the hamburger buns. Add the Cutting Vedge burgers and top with a handful of arugula, a spoonful of cranberry sauce, and crispy fried onions.
